April 20, 2002 - Foundation, Barrie, ON Posted By Overemphasized First I'll give you the setlist: Some intro tune->Inhale Look What I Found That Song Me and Mr. Blue->Knee Deep Breakthrough Blown Wide Open Under the Lighthouse->Thunderoad How Would You know->Pink Floyd tune->If I Had My Way->Back into How Would You know Another Brick in the Wall->Ladylike Undersold The Oaf->Baba O'Reily->Back into the Oaf Immigrant Song->New Year's Prayer->Kickass Jam There was lots of talking from Ian. He dedicated a lot of the songs to various people over the course of the evening. This show was LOUD. My ears are still ringing. A pleasure I haven't had since I had to sit through A Perfect Circle at summersault. The most noticable thing about this show was not only the fact the band was having a kickass time... but they didn't take a break. The show went for 1 hour and 40 minutes. They didn't leave the stage at all. The setlist was fairly standard and missing Overemphasizing... I fear I'll never get to see that song live. But after Ian introduced the Oaf as the last song I noticed he signalled his roadie and kept yelling Immigrant... So it was easy to tell they weren't really finished just yet. Ian introduced the Immigrant Song as the only cover they knew... and they did it better then the original. |
