The last time I saw these guys was in November, and that was amazing, but its even safe to say that Big Wreck Rocks more than EVER. My Review: LEFT PENCY These guys kick ass. They were REALLY good. Alot of influences present in some of their songs [sang a bit like Scott Stapp of Creed in some parts of a song, did a cool little Incubus speed singing...]. In my overall band to compare to, I'd say Finger 11 [And thats a GOOD thing]. They have a very good energy level, and play very well live. I'd buy their CD. THE FULL NINE I saw these guys in Sheridan with BW last fall, and I couldn't listen to them, this time I gave them a chance, and I still didn't like what I heard. The bass player was fun to watch. They had a good energy but the audience wasn't to fond of their stuff. BIG WRECK Guys came out @ 11 and the crowd went crazy. The setlist is almost identical to the Barrymore show, I couldn't list all of the intros but here ya go. Intro into Inhale [it's the Usual intro, but I forgot the name] Holiday into Look What I found She Sell Sanctuary into That Song Me & Mr Blue into Knee Deep Breakthrough Blown Wide Open Under The Lighthouse Intro [Boyu... ????] How Would You Know/ If I Had My Way Mistake Another Brick in the Wall to Ladylike Overemphasizing [So Amazing, Highlight song] Encore 1 Undersold Oaf/ [?] Encore 2 Intro [?] Head In The Girl/ [?] Ian was all happy to be home and the fact that the leafs won 3-1. His requests for the Disco ball to turn on were satisfied and he smiled like a litte boy on Christmas Day and flailed his arms in the air. NOTE I TOOK PICTURES , and theres one of the Disco ball, for Ian, 8x10 sound good? "How about the Full 9? What's the 9 supposed to be... The Full 9 yards? It's Rock and Roll, maybe its 'Inches'" Ian. "Only Dave is bold enough to grow a Mullet in this day of age" Ian. Hey did anyone notice that Dave's neck wasn't so rubbery? Ahhh well he played well and was still fun to watch.
